Owning a pistol isn't enough. 95% of Concealed Weapons Permit Holders CANNOT pass a basic shooting qualification. It is imperative to understand the safe operation and maintenance of any defensive tool to be an effective defender of life in your community and for your family. Learn the fundamentals of firearm safety and handling in our Basic Pistol Course. Suitable for beginners, this course covers safety protocols, shooting techniques, and maintenance. Perfect for building a foundation in firearms training, meets the State requirements to apply for your Florida Concealed Carry License. Students are not required to bring their own firearms for this course. You must be 21 or older to be eligible for a Concealed Weapons Permit in Florida. You must currently reside in the United States AND be a U.S. citizen or deemed a lawful permanent resident alien by Department of Homeland Security. Those who are 'Resident Aliens' must provide a valid Permanent Resident Alien card. ​
